The ZION ENERGY Experience

Born out of a Desire to Help

Zion Energy was founded with two goals; Help people and Save our Planet. Everything we do flows from these two foundational principles and will continue to do so.

OUR STORY

Protecting OUR Planet for OUR Future

Our solar journey started like so many others. We saw what was happening to our Planet and wanted to play our part in protecting it.

Although these changes were good and important they were like drops in our dying Oceans.
This and an engineering background led him to turn to technology in search of a more substantial solution.

How We Started

The Problems We Found

It wasn't just the costs that were preventing us and many others from "Going Green", the high technical barrier (often made worse by dodgy salespeople) meant that deciding to do so felt like a huge gamble.

Our Solution

We knew that individual responsibility and action were the only ways to protect our planet and that relying on and hoping for action from governments or large corporations wasn't going to cut it. From this the idea Zion Energy was born, the green energy company dedicated to helping people save our Planet.

Our Promise

Having bought, sold and designed solar PV systems, we realised that the solar energy industry needed a company dedicated to excellence by always leading the way in customer service, system design and accessibility;

A city on a hill.

During the 2020 lockdown, our founder was moved by the docuseries by Sir David Attenborough; Seven Worlds, One Planet.

Seeing the abundance of options when it came to green tech was a relief:

One of the greatest things about Solar energy is that it's free, this means that installing a solar and battery solution can reduce your bills by up to 85%* helping people create some financial margin in their lives allowing them to spend or save their money for what really matters. This is great for those who can afford a solar and batteries solution, but what about those who can't?

This series showed the natural beauty of the world we live in and how human activity is resulting in its rapid deterioration.

The realisation that the
awe-inspiring world we live in might only be available to the next generation in pictures was enough motivation to do something.

Wanting to play his part he looked into ways to reduce his and his family's carbon footprint.
Once all the lights had been changed to LEDs and the conversations about reducing food waste had been had, the feeling of insignificance started to settle in.

- Electric vehicles

- Heat pumps

- Solar thermal

- Solar PV and battery storage

These all provide real and significant impact when it comes to reducing a household's carbon footprint. Unfortunately, they all come with a real and significant cost.

Risking thousands of pounds, on a technology that you don't fully understand, based on the promises of a salesperson is not something anyone should be doing... no matter how noble the cause.

It felt like the SOLUTIONS to help save our planet were there but LOCKED away behind tall and insurmountable BARRIERS.

The first step was to start a Solar and battery company that would be dedicated to excellent service. Whether that was through:

Education about green technologies,

Installing bespoke energy solutions or

Helping improve people's existing systems

Zion Energy would do everything with a people-first focus.

The solution is ZION FOUNDATION, our fund that closes the gap between what people can afford and the price of the solar PV system they need. With 13% of Zion Energy's profits committed to funding solar projects, you can see that we put our money where our mouth is. If you are interested in finding out more about the ZION FOUNDATION you can get in contact via the link below.

Zion Energy is committed to and striving towards being the company that leads the way in all these areas!

We take pride in our work and give individually tailored advice to all our customers; working alongside them to deliver the most effective design solution for their needs!
